Volume 1 covers 2011 and part of 2012, from the beginning of the war and is available in black and white or colour in paperback and full colour in hardcover. First published in black and white to keep the cost down, but once Al Qaeda took over Syria and changed the flag to the old colonial one that the terrorist group the Free Syrian Army adopted, it was re-printed in colour to make it easier to distinguish between the two flags.

March 2011, the Arab Spring has been spreading from one country to another in the Middle East. Syria has not yet been affected and President Bashar Al Assad wanted it to stay that way, but it was not to be.

When the war started, Syrians could see on their TVs that the BBC and Al Jazeera were reporting lies about Syria and what they were reporting was totally fictitious. Syrians took to the streets in support of their President, but none of this was shown in the Western media. The BBC only interviewed terrorist groups, that fitted in with their agenda. Al Jazeera were also complicit in spreading the the lies, with many of their journalists resigning, rather than spread the lies. The only new services that were actually telling the truth and interviewing real Syrians that were in Syria and actually sent reporters to Syria were RT and Press TV.

In 2011 Al Jazeera were paying young men to gather together as if they were demonstrating, the media then linked these images with the men leaving the mosques after Friday night prayers to give the impression that the Syrian people were demonstrating. On Good Friday there were big storms in Damascus, which continued all day Friday and Saturday, but this didn't stop Al Jazeera putting on their news that there were mass demonstrations in the centre of Damascus said to be on Saturday on a sunny day, which was quite obvious to anyone in Damascus that this was filmed outside of Syria.

The terrorist groups would set fire to tyres in the the middle of the road and then when the emergency services arrived to put the fires out the terrorists would kill them. It was the emergency services that were being targeted in the beginning, the police, the fire brigade and ambulances. At the same time they were attacking the military generals with car bombs. Young men were being killed as they travelled home from work. They were beheaded and their bodies dumped in the streets, minus the head, which the terrorists would ask hundreds of thousands for the return of it, knowing the families would want to bury their sons complete.

People took to the streets in their cars, waving flags in support of President Bashar Al Assad and against the terrorist groups.
